Over the last few years the Dolce & Gabbana brand decided to increase its presence in the most famous luxury shopping streets of Milan and Rome, opening in 2016 the store in Via Montenapoleone in Milan, in 2017 the boutique in via Condotti in Rome and in the 2018 the shop in Piazza di Spagna.
MILANI S.p.A. took care of the installation of all technological systems: electrical, water and mechanical. The boutique in Milan, extending for 1,600 square meters on 3 floors, is characterized by green marble and elm burl. The lighting design helps presenting the products in a new formula where emotion, diversity and cultural exchange come together in theater-like stages, where experience and story become protagonists. The white ceiling enlivened by bright lights shines above the collections and makes each dress unique by defining a strong contrast with the green of the marble and onyx.
In Rome, the brand’s expansion was enacted in two stages, first the boutique in Via Condotti of about 300 square meters and then in 2018 the boutique in Piazza di Spagna, of about 600 square meters extending on two levels.
In the shop in Piazza di Spagna, inside a historic building of the sixteenth century, the splendor of the eternal city lives once more: a tribute to the solemnity of its monuments and the grandeur of its history, through lighting that highlights the marbles that cover floors, walls and ceilings, with shades ranging from intense yellow, to marquina black, to Siena brocade, to red with ivory and cream quartz veins, mother-of-pearl and white.
